premature completion of iso download

I have tried several times to download the Rescue Remix iso. Every time the download has prematurely completed -- leaving me with an incomplete, locally-saved file. Sometimes the download prematurely completes after 5%, other times 85%. The behavior is same regardless of v8.04, v8.04BETA, or v7.10. I've even tried a different ISP, to no avail.

Can someone help, or provide a link to resolving this very-frustrating issue??

Where do you live? I can

Where do you live? I can mail you a cd if you like.

Also, has anyone else had this problem?

I checked and everything

I checked and everything seems to be working fine for me. If others can reproduce this problem, I will try to find mirrors for hosting the iso images.

Thank you for your generous

Thank you for your generous offer of assistance. Fortunately, snail mail won't be necessary.

I was able to successfully work around the download issue I was experiencing using Free Download Manager Lite. FDMlite v2.5 (another high-quality GNU GPL utility) fully downloaded the v8.04 iso on the first try. The MD5 hash is good!

Still, I would consider adding Ubuntu Rescue Remix to a mirror. I searched for mirrors when I was suffering the prematurely incomplete download issue, and found none.

A lot of work has been put into this project. I'm sure those who generously donated their time would not want their efforts to be thwarted by an accessibility issue.

You may find Internet access

You may find Internet access at your local library to be a good test environment for attempts to reproduce the prematurely incomplete download issue.
